CAL Update

June 2025

Director's Greeting

As we wrap up the school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on everything this community has accomplished. From Shark Tank pitches and History of Medicine presentations to manufacturing capstones, the electronics expo in the tech lab, the "Heart in the Machine" fashion show, and all the incredible media our students produced, this year has been full of creativity, challenge, and growth. Our students didn't just get through the year; they showed up, worked hard, supported one another, and created something special. A special thank you to the Director's Advisory Council, pictured below, for their invaluable contributions this year.

To the Class of 2025, congratulations. You've made history with a 100% graduation rate, and over 90% of you are heading to college, a trade program, or the military. That didn't happen by accident. It happened because of your resilience, your commitment, and the way you continued to choose to move forward, even when it was hard. You didn't just participate as a CAL student; you propelled CAL forward. You are powerful. You are leaders. You are the heart of CAL.

To our 11th graders, you've grown so much this year! You've deepened your thinking, elevated and uplifted each other, and shown us that the future of CAL is bright. We see you. We're proud of you, and we're excited for next year!

Thank you, families, for being part of it all. Your support, your trust, and your partnership mean everything.

We are ending this school year strong, and I am already excited for what's ahead! Have a wonderful summer.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Gallagher

New CAL Website

Before we head into summer, we’re excited to share that CAL has launched a brand new website! Our goal was to create a site that’s accessible, easy to navigate, and useful for students, families, and staff.

Whether you’re looking for important updates, key resources, or a snapshot into what’s happening at CAL, we hope the new site makes it easier to stay connected.

I'm In - New Students

Be sure to check out the “I’m In” section on CAL’s new website. It’s your go-to spot for everything new students and families need to know for the upcoming school year.

From key dates and expectations to helpful resources and next steps, everything is in place to help you feel ready and informed as we head into the fall.
